A phenomenal cigar! I tried the Mandible on Wezel Wendzday special. I had been enjoying the CroMagnon Cranium, another wonderful cigar. I wanted to try something different with the CroMagnon Family...this cigar is beast - in such an incredible way. I have added the Mandible to my regular cigar repertoire! The customer service at HavaCigarShop is cut above the rest. You can go wrong with their cigars and you can buy with confidence that you are buying a high quality stick at a great price!

I happen to like the LFD DL-660 and once I smoked the Mandible, I knew that it would give the 660 a run for it's money. If you tend to shy away from larger ring gauges because of the perceived lack of flavor, don't believe the hype with this one. While the experience differs slightly from the other vitolas in the Cromagnon line, this cigar is packed with flavor and spice. Anxious to do a head to head taste test between the Mandible and the DL-660 maduro.

...and its also full flavored. My first cigar out of the sampler, this will definitely set the tone for the rest of the pack. I have been told by skip that this cigar is "in a league of its own" in terms of strength and he wasn't kidding.
Oily and soft, this cigar physically shows its youth as it mushes in between my fingers. Leather, chocolate, charred wood all present in nicely in the first half of this cigar. I have a feeling that this is a young expression of what this stick will ultimately offer.
The second half is really overpowering with strength instead of flavor, not bad as its more of a feature of its short time off of the rollers bench.
Ultimately this cigar will probably calm down and the flavor should pick up more complexity, but if you like your cigars strong and in-your-face feel free to smoke these as soon as you get them.
